I’m Jo Micklewright, founder of Saisei.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked across hospitality from different sides of the business, managing accommodation, working directly with guests, optimising search visibility, OTA performance, and building strategies to increase bookings and revenue.

That work has taken me from the day-to-day realities of running accommodation to understanding the commercial decisions that shape performance.

Along the way, I’ve increased OTA page views by 6,383% in just seven days, increased direct bookings by 30%, maintained 93% year-round occupancy, and increased upsell profits by 50% through A/B testing and AI.

Saisei grew from this experience and from seeing first-hand how stronger performance comes from all the pieces working together, rather than each one being improved separately.
